About Us

Frantastic Records is an independent label founded by Chilean artist Francisca Valenzuela in 2007. It serves as a platform for Valenzuela's creative vision while fostering a commitment to gender inclusivity and innovation within Latin music.

The label's journey began with Muérdete la lengua (2007), released under Frantastic Records. The album, a fusion of pop, folk, and jazz, was well-received in Chile, earning platinum certification and setting the stage for Valenzuela's future success.

In 2011, Valenzuela released Buen Soldado, also under Frantastic Records. A mix of pop, rock, and jazz, the album was certified gold in Chile and further solidified Valenzuela's place in the Latin music scene.

In 2014, Valenzuela released Tajo Abierto under Frantastic Records, marking a shift towards greater independence in her music. The album blends Latin pop, rock, and electronic elements, exploring themes of resilience, introspection, and growth.

In 2020, Valenzuela released La Fortaleza, distributed by Sony Music Chile. This album, a fusion of pop, R&B, and funk, explores themes of empowerment and self-expression, representing a significant step in Valenzuela’s artistic evolution and connection with listeners across Latin America.

Her 2022 album Vida Tan Bonita was also distributed by Sony Music Chile and continued her artistic growth. A mix of indie pop, synthwave, and Latin jazz, it showcased Valenzuela’s creative versatility and her ability to experiment with new sounds while staying rooted in her musical heritage.

In 2023, Valenzuela released Adentro under Frantastic Records. This introspective album delves deeper into experimental sounds and emotions, marking a new chapter in Valenzuela’s musical journey.

Valenzuela’s role in founding and producing Ruidosa Fest, a festival dedicated to amplifying the voices of women and gender-nonconforming artists in the Latin music industry, further underscores Frantastic Records’ commitment to equality and inclusivity.
